Application to IGSDHD

Each PhD candidate has to send us:

  • filled in application form (active for downloads only during the application call)- open the PDF file and fill it in. You might consider saving it in between not to loose your data (see: How to save my application form without loosing the data?) Please note characters limitations INCLUDING spaces - all characters going beside the limit can not be seen by us when we read your application form. You may consider preparing your answers in some document editing program, where you can see number of used characters and edit the text to the limit or below before copying into the form (see: How to fill in the application form - further instructions)
  • CV / resume - without photo
  • transcripts of records - in English. Please send us translations certified by a trustful authority, such as: dean's office, university's office, certified translators 
  • copies of B.Sc. and/ or M.Sc. certificates - please translate into English and certify the translated copy
  • English language skills certificates if available- we need to know whether you posses any English skills. They will be assessed during the whole course of selection. An university English course suffices as a certificate at first.

How to send an application: 

  1. Open your mailing program (MS Outlook, Thunderbird etc.)
  2. Fill the application form and click on "Send via Email"
  3. Attach all other documents to THE SAME email

alternatively: 

  1. Fill out the application form and print it out
  2. Scan the form and save as a .jpg/.jpeg or .pdf if possible
  3. Attach the form together with all other documents and send to us in ONE email

Other than some scholarship websites state, we only provide doctoral fellowships!

Only applications sent via email will be accepted!
